The following Innovation Rebate Program incentives were announced during the fiscal year of 2020-2021.

Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) has approved a new business development incentive in the form of a Small Medium Enterprise Innovation Rebate Program (SME IRP).
Scotian Gold is a grower-owned tree fruit cooperative that stores and packs over 50 per cent of the province's apple production.
The company is based in Coldbrook in King’s County, Nova Scotia and plans to modernize the apple packing facility through the addition of robotics to box apples and supplement their packing capacity.
The company is eligible to earn a maximum innovation rebate of $406,421.50 through NSBI once the project is completed, based on eligible Nova Scotia capital spending of $1.6 million.

Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) has approved a business development incentive in the form of an innovation rebate for Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. The company is a global aerospace leader with an operation based in Enfield, Nova Scotia.
The company will be proceeding with a $ $11,810,000 capital investment to modernize their blade line operation department. Pratt and Whitney’s modernization of technology will help meet increased demand for its products throughout Canada and support additional export initiatives internationally.
The company is eligible to earn a maximum innovation rebate of $2,369,562 upon completion of its project, based on eligible capital spending of $11,810,000.
