National Oceanography Centre
Southampton, United Kingdom
Nova Scotia Business Inc, in partnership with the Newfoundland & Labrador Department of Industry, Energy, and Technology (IET), Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the Atlantic Provinces, and partners are recruiting Atlantic Canadian companies interested in exhibiting within the Canada pavilion at the Ocean Business 2021 Conference (OBUK) live event in Southampton UK, October 12-14, 2021.
This initiative will provide Atlantic Canadian companies with a platform to highlight and showcase their array of ocean technology goods and services that will help increase business opportunities in the UK and other international markets.
Exhibiting at OBUK gives you access and networking opportunities with the industry’s leaders, top scientists, technologists, engineers, and government agencies. The UK is considered to be one of the “leading hubs” for Oceans in all of Europe and we anticipate a high level of activity. Participants will be responsible for covering the cost of all travel and transportation, hotels, meals, incidentals as well as any required shipping.
The Canadian Pavilion will host 16 Atlantic Canadian firms to exhibit at the show. The costs to participate as an exhibitor will be $2,000. Due to the limited space, exhibitors will be screened by IET and ACOA for eligibility and suitability to participate.
A completed application form is required to be considered for a booth. If your company is selected, payment will be required within five business days from the date of notification. If the show is cancelled, your payment will be refunded.
The conference dates are October 12-14, 2021. The deadline to apply is June 23, 2021. Please request an application form from Bradley Thorne, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Joining the Delegation as a Walker (No Booth)
Companies that are interested in participating as part of the Canadian delegation, but do not want to exhibit may join the delegation as a show walker. The cost to attend as a walker will be free; however, companies will be responsible for covering the cost of all travel and transportation, hotels, meals, and incidentals. To join the Canadian delegation as a show walker please contact the representatives below.
Please note that since Canada and many international markets are currently under COVID-19 restrictions, the Atlantic Canadian group participation at OBUK in October 2021 will be subject to any health and travel restrictions that may apply as we move forward.
