MISSION FULL: Diversity Procurement Fair and Breakfast with Brands in Toronto

Nova Scotia Business Inc. is currently seeking businesses of diversity to join us in Toronto for the CAMSC Diversity Procurement Fair and the WBE Canada Breakfast with Brands: Automotive Industry. The focus of these events is cultivating, building and growing relationships with global suppliers who are committed to doing business with businesses of diversity. Canadian and US business leaders across sectors will also attend to share best practices for securing business within global supply chains.
This mission is open to Nova Scotia businesses of diversity who are interested in becoming certified as a diverse supplier, newly certified, or experienced certified suppliers.
NSBI has defined businesses of diversity based on the Canadian guidelines and eligibility requirements. This includes businesses that are 51%+ owned, managed and controlled by Aboriginals, Disabled Persons, LGBTQ+, Veterans, Visible Minorities, or Women.
This mission includes:
- One-day preparation workshop in Halifax (March 15) where participants will work with consultants to develop short pitches and capability statements.
- Breakfast hosted by Laurel Broten, CEO of Nova Scotia Business Inc. in Toronto (April 16).
- Inclusion in a directory (digital and print) of Nova Scotia businesses of diversity.

Step 4: Companies must also individually register to attend the CAMSC Diversity Procurement Fair and/or the WBE Breakfast with Brands. Companies must register for at least one event.
Registration fees: $200.00
Deadline: February 15, 2019
Please note that space is limited. Companies are responsible for the cost of all travel, meals, accommodations and event registrations while in market.
Applicants may be eligible to apply to the Export Growth Program for financial assistance https://www.novascotiabusiness.com/export/export-growth-program.
The Export Growth Program supports travel to new markets to allow companies to meet with prospective clients, attend trade shows, or identify potential opportunities.
