The International Chamber of Commerce has launched Incoterms® 2020, the newest edition of the renowned trade terms for the delivery of goods. Whether you're filing a purchase order, packaging a shipment for freight transport or preparing a certificate of origin, Incoterms® guide you on the costs, risks, and obligations for your business, reducing disputes and losses around logistics. 

Training Sessions are FREE for Nova Scotia exporters, supply chain, shipping, and logistics professionals, and those in an export advisory capacity. The course will cover basics for beginners and an in-depth refresher with important updates for experienced professionals.

What does the training consist of?

  • One-day course offered by a certified Incoterms® trainer (8:30am-4:30pm)
  • Reference materials and an Incoterms® 2020 e-book
  • Eligibility to write the Incoterms® 2020 rules exam

Professionals attending the session will be able to:

  • Identify the correct Incoterms® 2020 rule for specific transactions
  • Determine the obligations, risks, and costs for both sellers and buyers
  • Avoid common errors by using Incoterms®
  • Use to their advantage to identify corporate sales strategies that lower risks and costs
